One Boulder Plaza is a new mixed-use
project extending two blocks and providing approximately 400,000
square feet of commercial and residential space.
Combining new construction with renovation, One Boulder Plaza is changing
the face of one of downtown Boulder’s most visible and bustling
centers. The expansive project features office and retail space,
as well as 75 residential units.
One Boulder Plaza is located in the heart of downtown Boulder, stretching
from Broadway on the west, to 14th Street on the east, and from Canyon
Boulevard on the south to Walnut Street on the north. Curving through
the project is 13th Street. Boulder’s bus transit hub borders
on the east, and the Pearl Street Mall is just one block to the north.
The project is being developed by four partners; Bill Reynolds, president
of the W.W. Reynolds Companies; Jerry Lee, president of Lee Development;
Art Kelton, Jr., a managing partner of Christopher Denton Kelton & Kendall; and
Paul Eklund, founder of P.N. Eklund Interests.
The four partners have been involved with residential and
commercial developments in Boulder, and have provided
their experience and knowledge to various community groups and organizations.
Boulder native Reynolds and Lee have been development
partners for the past 22 years, and Kelton and Eklund have worked together
for over 30 years.
DTJ Design and Communication Arts, both of Boulder,
were the architectural designers of the project. Wyatt Construction
of Boulder was the general contractor. read
